About the Technicolor C2000T Wireless DSL Modem
Quick and easy connection to the internet is made possible with this CenturyLink C2000T ADSL/VDSL modem and router combo, featuring Wireless-N technology for clear signals and enhanced range. The perfect DSL modem for streaming video, music, and gaming. The firewall and WEP encryption security options help keep your data safe and secure. Compatible with most CenturyLink DSL services. Please call your provider prior to purchasing to confirm compatibility.
All-in-One Device
The C2000T helps get the most out of your internet service by combining all of your DSL services into one device for most “triple-play” packages while allowing you to use your existing wiring.
The C2000T is also a “future-proof” and powerful gateway, allowing VDSL2 (Bonded) connectivity and providing Voice over IP (telephone) functions for residential users.
Gigabit Connections Made Possible with the C2000T
A dedicated Gigabit Ethernet flexible WAN/LAN port and DSL WAN sensing make the C2000T also the ideal service gateway for use in mixed DSL and fiber-based networks. In addition to its four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, the C2000T also offers an IEEE 802.11n wireless access point for Local Area Network (LAN) access.

Works perfectly with Windstream DSL bonded service. Saving $10.66 a month over leasing their modem. Super easy set-up.

Just what we needed and at the perfect price so that we are not going to be gouged by our internet provider’s leasing scheme. Works well.

Replaced leased modem with this modem. I have Centurylink copper bonded ADSL2 service 20Mbps Down, 2Mbps Up. Setup Transparent Bridging 8/35. I am running traffic shaper QOS policies on my router for VoIP traffic using 20% for downstream and 60% upstream. My speed tests are consistent at 22.2Mbps downstream and 1.6 Mbps upstream latency is kind of high. Pray for the day I get FTTH fiber to the home.

First off, I’d like to say that this product was very easy to set up. It probably took me 5-10 minutes to get everything finalized. Second, the modem works perfectly and even improved my internet speed. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks now but if anything changes I’m definitely editing this review. Finally, if you here reading this, good for you for not feeding in to the scam that is renting a modem from your internet provider. I figured that out after unknowingly renting one from century link for 8 years. Needless to say, buying this product is a smart decision.

Swapped out my rental modem/router with this unit. Took me about 10 minutes to install and get my devices back up on line. Had this for about a month now and it works flawlessly. To boot, I’m saving almost $7.00 a month rental fee from Century Link.

CenturyLink C2000T was just the right replacement modem for my home, it has worked well and supplies my home with reliable internet and Ethernet connections. I would recommend this modem to anyone who needs a good modem.

I bought this modem/router the first time and it lasted for about a month. I was in the kitchen when I heard a loud pop from the modem. I assumed the storm caused a power surge. I then bought a more expensive ActionTech modem thinking it would be better. Well, I had to configure it and reboot it all the time and the internet was much slower than when I had the Technicolor C2000T. I sent that one back and purchased another Technicolor C2000T, which seems to provide the quickest and most reliable internet. I recommend using a power surge strip in order to avoid having your unit bite the dust prematurely. I live in a remote area with download speeds of 3mbps and I can stream Netflix with no interruption.

This modem/router works perfectly. I was a little hesitant when the CenturyLink rep said most modems people buy online don’t work, but that was not the case with mine. It set up perfectly, and since I opted for a self-install set-up with CenturyLink, I saved myself $99 as well. And no more paying them a monthly lease fee for a modem.
